To facilitate the work of other researchers, we provide the four
Gnutella topology snapshots studied in our IMC 2005 paper, as well as
the empirical data used in our IMC 2006 paper on Sampling. The
topology snapshots are in the form of Cruiser log files. Each line of
the file presents the results of attempting to contact a particular
host. The format of each line is as follows:
ip:port([Version][|[0]]): Type [[ip:port ]*, [ip:port]*]
The first ip:port pair is the IP address and port of the host Cruiser
attempted to contact. If present, the Version is the self-reported
brand and version of the Gnutella client. The Type may be one of
"Ultrapeer", "Peer", or "Leaf", or an error message describing why the
peer could not be contacted. If the connection was successful, then a
series of space-separated ip:port pairs follow. Those before the
comma are neighboring peers; those after the comma are leaf peers.
