PAPER SUBMISSION POLICIES
Please carefully read the following paper submission policies for MMCN before you submit your work.
Papers that do not comply with these policies or with the provided formatting/submission guidelines
in this page are returned to authors without review.
- Papers must be written in English.
- Accepted papers must have at least one author
registered (at non-student registration rate) by the advance authors' registration deadline,
for the paper to be included in the final conference program and the proceedings.
- Author(s) of an accepted paper should present their work at the
conference. Once we notice no-shows, we will list the authors of the papers
and share this information among multimedia research community
- Submitted papers should not be previously published, nor be
submitted simultaneously to any other workshop, conference or journal.
The TPC reserves the right to reject any such papers.
Authors should clearly indicate in their submissions whether it
contains any material or results from the author's previous published
work; without a significantly new contribution, the submission is
automatically rejected.
- All papers that are accepted by the technical program committee
and presented at the conference, will also be published in the
conference proceedings.
- Authors of accepted papers will be expected to format their final manuscripts
according the SPIE/IS&T manuscript guidelines, and transfer copyright of their
papers to the SPIE/IS&T.
PAPER FORMATTING INSTRUCTIONS
Authors are asked to closely follow these instructions for papers submitted for review:
- Document format must be Adobe PDF without passwords or encryption.
We cannot accept any other formats, including Word or Postscript.
It is your responsibility to make sure that your PDF paper prints properly.
We suggest you use only Type-1 fonts in your document.
Avoid using any non-standard fonts that may create problems in printing.
If we are unable to print your paper as is, we will be unable to include it in the review process.
- The full and short papers should not be longer than 12 and 8 page long, respectively.
This includes all figures, tables, and references. No extra page
is allowed for the initial submission and no extra page can be purchased for the camera-ready version.
- The layout of the submitted papers must adhere to the guidelines set out in the
SPIE/IS&T Manuscript Specifications for the preparation
of camera-ready contributions to SPIE/IS&T proceedings.
- The following templates are available: Microsoft Word
and LaTeX style files.

To submit your paper, first you need to
create an account in the review system by providing your information. You will
receive a passwd through email which allows you to login to the
system and submit your paper(s).
